BIOGRAPHY
Texas Music Recording Artist, Dustin Sanchez, was born on May 8, 1984 in Houston, Texas. Dustin discovered his passion for country music at young age. He began taking guitar lessons at the age of nine and later taught himself how to play the piano, bass, and drums.
In 2000, at the age of fifteen, Dustin recorded and released his first album, “It’s About Time.” His debut single, “Better Hang On Girl” aired on radio stations throughout the state of Texas and topped charts overseas in five different countries. The album showcased his talent and exudes his upbeat positive energy, which led Dustin to be recognized with multiple nominations and awards from his peers. In 2001, the “Best In Texas” magazine recognized him as the “Best Unsigned Artist,” “Best Fan Response,” and was in the top 10 for “Best Male Artist.” His second release, “Down, Down, Down,” also received air play on Texas radio. In February of 2008, Dustin’s “It’s About Time” CD had the honor of being flown on Space Shuttle Mission STS-122.
In 2004, Dustin released his second album, “I Moved On.” The debut single, “A Lifetime With You” showcased his talent as a songwriter, and began receiving air play all over the state of Texas. At the end of 2006, Dustin decided to step away from the stage and concentrate on writing new songs. Dustin later had four songs recorded by other independent artist.
In 2026, Dustin returned to the studio to record new songs, using Stormy Cooper Media. His debut single, “A Little Honkytonk Never Hurt Nobody” will be released on August 3, 2026. His second single, “One For Me,” the title cut, also written by Dustin Sanchez will follow. His third song, “Next,” written by Jon Pardi, Bart Butler, and James Melton, will be released thereafter. He also included an acoustic bonus track, “I Wanna Love You Like I Did,” which he co wrote with another songwriter. Dustin is currently working on developing a team for his new EP, “One For Me,” to take off on all social media platforms, Texas radio, along with the overseas market.
